**Your challenge**:
Under the guidance of the **Master Planner**, the Production Planning Intern will be tasked with various planning activities and tool development to enhance the efficiency of planning processes. Responsibilities include:

- Provide assistance to the Project Management Team: Support with scheduling and project planning, including resource loading and critical path analysis.
- Support the Master Planner: Help with planning tasks, such as updating the shop schedule and performing resource analysis.
- Coordinate with the Procurement Team: Ensure that all necessary materials are available for production commencement.
- Develop Tools for Process Improvement: Create and refine tools in Excel, Power Query, and Power BI to streamline the planning process.
- Monitor and Evaluate Resource Allocation: Track resource loading, availability, and allocation in collaboration with functional managers, taking into account workforce, risks, and more.
- Prepare Weekly Reports: Consolidate and generate reports like KPIs and progress updates.
- Map Current and Future Processes: Assist the Master Planner in mapping processes and establishing action plans to meet process targets.

**Your qualifications**:

- Minimum of 3 years of undergraduate studies completed in engineering, supply chain or business administration.
- Knowledge and experience of Lean Manufacturing.
- Experience with an ERP system.
- Experience with Excel, Power Query, and Power BI
- Experience with MS Project
- Billingual English and French: Frequent communications with North American offices
- Prioritizing and multi-tasking skills.
- No criminal record and must be able to meet security clearance requirements.

**Vos défis**:
Sous la direction du planificateur principal, le stagiaire en planification de la production sera chargé de diverses activités de planification et du développement d'outils pour améliorer l'efficacité des processus de planification. Les responsabilités comprennent:

- Fournir une assistance à l'équipe de gestion de projet : soutien à la planification et à la planification du projet, y compris la charge des ressources et l'analyse du chemin critique.
- Soutenir le planificateur principal : aider aux tâches de planification, telles que la mise à jour du calendrier de l'atelier et l'analyse des ressources.
- Coordonner avec l'équipe d'approvisionnement : s'assurer que tous les matériaux nécessaires sont disponibles pour le début de la production.
- Développer des outils pour l'amélioration des processus : créez et améliorer des outils dans Excel, Power Query et Power BI pour rationaliser le processus de planification.
- Surveiller et évaluer l'allocation des ressources : suivez le chargement, la disponibilité et l'allocation des ressources en collaboration avec les responsables fonctionnels, en tenant compte de la main-d'œuvre, des risques, etc.
- Préparer des rapports hebdomadaires : consolidez et générez des rapports tels que des KPI et des mises à jour de progrès.
- Cartographier les processus actuels et futurs : aider le planificateur principal à cartographier les processus et à établir des plans d'action pour atteindre les objectifs des processus.

**Vos qualifications**:

- Minimum de 3 années d'études de premier cycle complétées en ingénierie, en chaîne d'approvisionnement ou en administration des affaires.
- Connaissance et expérience du Lean Manufacturing.
- Expérience avec un système ERP.
- Expérience avec Excel, Power Query et Power BI
- Expérience avec MS Project
- Bilingue anglais et français : communications fréquentes avec les bureaux nord-américains
- Compétences en matière de priorisation et de multitâche.
- Pas de casier judiciaire et doit être en mesure de satisfaire aux exigences de sécurité.
