**Mission**:
Valley Blacktop, part of the Terus Construction Ltd. group, is seeking a Scale Operator for its operations in Revelstoke, BC. Reporting to the Office Manager, your main functions are to record the movement of materials from the plant/pit to the required work site.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Record the delivery of materials to construction jobs, pit to pit transfers and asphalt and gravel sales.
- Prepare production reports and material inventory reports
- Requisition materials and supplies
- Ensuring hired truck tickets, timecards and equipment pre-trip checklists are collected daily for processing
- Filing and sorting of truck tickets and time and reconciling with the differing work sites.
- Other general office duties

**Working Conditions & Requirements**:

- Frequently exposed to noise and a regular flow of people through office
- May be required to work long hours and 7 days a week
- Sitting at a desk 75% of time and 25% standing
- On-the-job training is provided
- Proper working attire and work boots
- Valid Class 5 license and current drivers abstract
- Be able to work well with others
- Familiarity with digital scale
- To work with mínimal supervision
