Shifts include Monday - Thursday (8:30 am - 5:00 pm) and occasional Fridays (8:30 am - 12:00 pm).

**Job Duties**
- Prepare and submit OHIP billings
- Schedule and confirm appointments
- Greet patients and prepare them for appointments
- Ensure that medical records are accurately filed and secured
- Manage data entry in EMR software, scan documents and input data
- Manage doctor scheduling, identify, and troubleshoot schedule conflicts
- Prepare and edit documents, reports, and correspondences
- Transmit messages to patients and families in a professional and confidential manner
- Order office supplies and manage inventory
- Package and prepare lab samples
- Maintain confidentiality and privacy of patients
- Perform other related duties and administrative tasks as needed 

**Qualifications**
- At least 2 years of related work experience
- Completion of Medical Secretary education preferred
- Experience with OHIP billing and submissions
- Experience using EMR software required, Accuro an asset
- Knowledge of medical terminology and OHIP billing codes
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on providing a positive and welcoming patient experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive and professional demeanour
- Ability to use Microsoft Word
- Demonstrated strong attention to detail and personal accountability  

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
