**Position - Forklift Operator (Kerrisdale Lumber Contractor Division)**

**Position Summary**

**Hours**

Monday to Friday, 7-3:30/8:30-5

**Position Summary**

**Day-to-Day Tasks**:

- Receiving orders from the shipper to be assembled in preparation to deliver to our clients
- Communicating order priorities with the shipper to ensure orders are ready for delivery
- Checking off and communicating incoming goods shipments to the receiving department and sales team
- Recording order status in our software system
- Checking orders for accuracy prior delivery
- Helping customers load their vehicles if they are picking up items and checking off their orders

**What We’re Looking For**:

- Good organizational and time management skills
- Someone who works well in a team environment
- Able to lift heavy objects (~50lbs)
- Comfortable using computers
- Forklift experience required
