**TYCROP** is looking for a **Sandblaster ** (Day or Afternoon shift) to join our team in the Fraser Valley.

**_Do you like working with grinding/blast equipment?_**

**_Do you enjoy a 3-day weekend? This role is 4 x 10 hrs Mon through Thursday. _**

If you said **yes** to these questions, we may have an opportunity for you right here in the Fraser Valley

**Responsibilities**:

- Preparation of material for paint readiness to include cleaning, masking and quality control prior and post sandblast process
- Able to prepare & maintain equipment and media consumables
- Remove excess metal and unwanted materials from metal parts, casting and other metal products
- Monitor all blast equipment, materials, PPE for wear as per safety compliance
- Schedule maintenance of equipment and cleanup of direct work areas(s)

**Specific Skills**
- Layout of Patterns and operation of specific tools: Sandblast equipment
- Able to use basic hand tools - grips, wrenches, screwdrivers, craft knifes etc.
- Able to lift 50 lb
