We are looking for highly motivated aquafit instructors who are energetic about health and wellness and can inspire others to reach their personal fitness goals.

**Location**: 410 Rebecca Street, Oakville, Ontario

**Hours of work**: Part-Time, various class times include early mornings, late evenings and weekends

**Salary & Benefits**:

**Responsibilities**:

- Plan and deliver safe, fun and effective aquafit classes
- Modify the aquafit class to suit needs of participants
- Demonstrate the vision of the YMCA by developing meaningful, long-lasting relationships with members through purposeful interactions
- Be an Ambassador for the YMCA through consistent, excellent membership service and support
- Maintain high member retention through the delivery of relationship focused individual coaching
- Monitor all equipment used to maintain safety standards
- Respond to inquiries regarding fitness programs promptly
- Adhere to Adult HFA Policy, Child Protection Policy, health & safety procedures and service standards
- Opportunity to teach additional classes: Yoga, Aquafit, CycleFit, Strength Cardio, Stretch & Mobility, including evenings and weekends

**Requirements**:

- YMCA (or equivalent) Aquatic certification
- Experience in planning, design and delivery of Aquafit classes
- Previous experience instructing a variety of fitness levels
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills
- Current CPR and First Aid
- Current Police Reference Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening
