McCowan Design and Manufacturing, part of an established family group of companies, manufactures a large variety of custom store fixture solutions is looking to hire **CABINET MAKERS**. Our Woodshop is conveniently located bordering **Toronto and Mississauga**.

We offer a GREAT TEAM ENVIRONMENT suitable for either the **EXPERIENCED WORKER OR RECENT GRADS, **wanting to work in a fast-paced environment, building a variety of custom or production-type fixtures and furniture. We provide a variety of projects where you can contribute and/or learn to develop specialized skills with a high degree of accuracy in working with multi materials including wood, solid surface, laminates, metal, and glass.

We provide a clean, safe work environment in a team environment with opportunity for growth and a comprehensive benefits package.

Day shift: 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Ability to read, interpret and visualize a finish product from drawings and specifications
- Able to read tape measure and work with both metric and imperial dimensions
- Safely operate table saw, edgebander, hand tools, clamps etc. to fabricate wood cabinets, countertops, displays and fixtures
- Able to lay up laminate and solid surface
- Able to machine, fabricate and finish solid surface products
- Knowledge of different materials (melamine, laminates, finishes, and hardware
- Able to lift 50lbs
- Current Valid Forklift license (optional)

**Salary**: $19.00-$27.50 per hour
