**What you will do:
Being a Node.js Developer at Valtech means working in an agile team with people you really like, with trusted leadership and at the heart of a company culture that truly values work-life balance. More specifically, here's what your daily life will be like:

- Collaborate on technical solutions that consider all aspects of a web solution;
- Connect third-party systems to e-commerce platforms;
- Participate in estimation and refinement meetings, cut out required tasks and take part in sprint reviews;
- Answer customers' questions and be present with the team when solutions are delivered;
- Participate in the daily scrum, organize and communicate the progress of your work to your peers, demonstrate transparency regarding the various problems encountered and help your team deliver the sprint;
- Participate in quality control of delivered solutions;
- Contribute to the improvement of standards within the JavaScript practice;
**What you should have:
- You have about 3 years in web development;
- You have a college diploma in programming or a bachelor's degree in computer science;
- The principles of programming (SOLID, Design Pattern) hold no secrets for you;
- You're familiar with Node.js, TypeScript and JavaScript (ES6+);
- You are proactive, ask questions and communicate well with your colleagues.
- You are curious and learn well by yourself
- The Git command line and the terminal don't scare you;
- You master, handle and understand database management;
- Good knowledge of how to create and use RESTful APIs;
- You're a good team player who's not afraid to be challenged by your peers and our standardization tools (ESLint, stylelint, JSDoc);
- You are fluent in French and English - both when communicating with customers and future colleagues;
- You've already worked in an Agile development environment and are familiar with SCRUM and Kanban methodology (or have some knowledge of them);
- You've already worked in a continuous integration environment

Asset:

- Have knowledge of GraphQL
- Have already worked with a headless CMS platform such as: ContentStack, Contentful, Amplience
- Have already integrated a search platform such as: Algolia, ElasticSearch, Coveo, Bloomreach
- Have commercetools knowledge and certifications Have already worked with virtual machines (e.g. Docker)
