On-highway Heavy Equipment Technician

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct maintenance, repair, and diagnostic procedures on-highway vehicles, including trucks and trailers.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance tasks to ensure the safe and efficient operation of vehicles and equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues and implement appropriate solutions to resolve problems.
- Complete required paperwork, documentation, and service reports accurately and in a timely manner.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, regulations, and company policies while performing job duties.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with supervisors and clients regarding job status and any issues encountered.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment and ensure that tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored.

**Requirements**:

- Journeyman ticket in on-highway heavy equipment technician.
- Experience working with highway vehicles and equipment is preferred.
- Possession of a Commercial Vehicle Inspection Program (CVIP) certification is an asset.
- Class 3 driver's license with a clean driving record is considered an asset.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

**Experience**:

- On-highway Technician: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Class 5 Licence (required)
- On-highway Journeyman Ticket (required)
