Reporting to the Regional Manager, this position is accountable for leading customer relations in a designated geographic area. The Customer Services Supervisor (CSS) is the customer advocate who works with their local team to ensure an excellent standard of customer satisfaction is delivered. The CSS supervises the customer sales representatives (CSR) and Clerk(s) in an assigned area.
Supports the Regional Manager in the management of customer and community relations through involvement in the development and execution of strategies related to maintaining positive relationships and renewing contracts or agreements with franchise communities, indigenous groups, and local rural electrification associations.
Manages the local customer complaint and escalation process. The CSS works with departmental teams to ensure that the local customer relationship management approach aligns with corporate and department guidelines, policies, and processes.
Lead the Regional Administration team who is providing day to day services to internal front-line team, supervisors, and customers. The CSS is required to aggregate all administration work to ensure the team is effectively completing all task to meet internal and external customer needs.

**What You Get to Do**:
- Locally administers, manages and provides visible leadership to ensure compliance with the corporate policies and best practices related to Health, Safety and Environment.
- Acts as a champion to develop a “safety first” culture. Lead by example through personal demonstration of HS&E best practices daily.
- Ensures that incidents and near misses are documented, investigated, analyzed, reported and acted upon including escalation to the Customer Business Manager with follow up as required.
- Acts as the local customer advocate representing customer needs and perspectives within the team.
- Participates in strategic planning with key customers to understand their needs, establish a trusted partnership by aligning customer needs/challenges with solution recommendations to drive continued value of ATCO’s service offerings. Identify and provide feedback into future service offerings, one ATCO opportunities and innovation.
- Review monthly CSAT, CIR and customer feedback from SQM surveys to better understand customer issues and pro-actively identify emerging needs and trends and recommend approaches to improve the local customer experience and strive for continuous improvement and innovation opportunities.
- Review and provide input on KPI and customer satisfaction metrics for designated area to ensure targets are met.
- Investigates, reviews and responds to customer complaint and manages the escalation process.
- Manages involvement in local (and corporate - AUMA, AAMD&C) trade, community or association fairs and events including coordinating local staff participation and attendance.
- Manages local participation/presentations/demonstrations to schools and community groups in support of ATCO Electric’s initiatives including coordinating local staff participation and attendance.
- Liaises on an ongoing basis with community boards and agencies and school districts to establish and maintain ongoing dialogue regarding community service needs and expectations.
- Provides direct supervision to CSRs and Clerks in assigned area of responsibility.
- Build, lead and coach team for high performance, engagement, retention and collaboration resulting in strong customer service satisfaction and employee engagement results, growth, transformation and innovation.
