**Summer Camp Counselor**

CSC Camps is looking for a responsible, enthusiastic and outgoing Camp Counselor for our summer camps. The Camp Counselor is to act as a leader and assist camp children in a fun and safe camp experience.

**Responsibilities**:

- Active involvement in the operation and delivery of the camp programs
- Assist with planning and implementing camp programs
- Ensure all inventories are maintained (med kits, equipment etc)
- Ensure programs run on schedule
- Learn and teach assigned camp curriculum and weekly camp themes as needed
- Other duties as assigned

**Required skills and knowledge**:

- High energy, self-starter
- A keen interest in summer camp
- Experience working with children in a camp or school setting would be considered and asset
- Excellent people skills and a friendly, responsible, service-oriented attitude
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Strong computer skills, able to enter data accurately and efficiently

**Other Qualifications**:

- Some experience with children ages 4 to 12 in a camp or educational setting
- Valid driver’s license is a must
- Criminal Records Check with vulnerable sector

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary, Contract

**Salary**: From $15.50 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Work Location: In person

Expected start date: 2023-07-03
