**Your Role**:
**What You'll Do**:

- Plan, create, and format technical information, including design documents, test procedures, training materials, manuals, and other documentation as needed.
- Prepare software documentation in accordance with IEEE standards.
- Prepare and proofread maintenance manuals and other user and technical documents.
- Communicate with software and hardware engineers to obtain and understand content.

**What you will need to succeed**:

- A Major or Minor in Applied Sciences or Engineering.
- Ability to effectively convey complex or technical information to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong, organized self-starter, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to write clear instructions that break complexity into logical steps.
- Understanding of, or experience in writing, end-user documentation such as maintenance manuals and software user manuals.
- Familiarity with IEEE software documentation standards and UML diagrams.

**Experiences that will help you thrive**:

- Diagramming experience with Visio and other tools.
- Experience in writing or editing technical documentation.
- Experience or familiarity with requirements management systems.
- Knowledge of IEEE standards, specifically IEEE-1558.
- Experience in using Jira.

Pay: $72,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
