**Company Overview**

Superior Asphalt Paving Co. has been operating in Winnipeg for over 35 years, performing asphalt and concrete paving in the summer months and snow removal in the winter months.

Our paving services include new driveway/parking lot construction, existing driveway/parking lot repairs, seal coating, crack sealing, approaches, concrete installation, line painting and parking lot sweeping.

Our snow and ice management services include snow removal and hauling, sand and granite barrel supply and parking lot sanding.

We are seeking an experienced full time Concrete Foreman/Forewoman for Winnipeg and surrounding areas. Our paving season runs from May-October and our snow removal season is from November - April

**Qualifications & Experience**

Must have 5 years of concrete experience and previous experience as a foreman/forewoman.

Must have experience in concrete related to curb and gutter, sidewalks, driveways, concrete pads, City of Winnipeg approach installations.

Experience with managing crews in a leadership or supervisory position.

Exceptional time-management skills; ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks quickly.

Thrives well in a busy, deadline-oriented environment.

Exceptional communication and organizational skills.

Ability to grasp potential issues, problem solve and enjoy working as a team player.

Must have a valid class 5 driver’s licence.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:
Interpret engineer drawings to ensure sites are prepared to all required specifications.

Coach, train and assist crews with completing work.

Ability to run a 3-8 person construction crew to meet daily schedule and production goals.

Overseeing all activities pertaining to concrete preparation, placement, installation, finishing and curing

Maintain accurate record of the number of hours worked and the number of materials used for each project.

Perform other work related tasks as required
