**Duties will include**:

- Greet guests in the restaurant in a warm and friendly manner.
- Handle all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism.
- Setting up the service line, ensuring all items necessary for service are in place and in good working order.
- Delivering food to the guest in the correct seat numbers.
- Describe dishes correctly and answer guests' questions when prompted.
- Monitoring table paces and reporting back to the expeditor.
- Interpret cues from guests, ensuring orders are not rushed or delayed.
- Ensure cleanliness of all china, cutlery and glassware.
- Communicating information from servers to the expeditors, ensuring guest requests, changes or modifications are relayed accurately to chef.
- Polishing silverware.
- Assisting with clearing and setting tables.
- Assist with setup and take down of banquets and functions.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a similar caliber establishment is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of SilverWare POS system an asset
- Must be comfortable working independently as well as with a team
- Barista, or similar, skills are an asset but not required
- Maintain a professional and welcoming demeanor at all times
- High attention to detail and exceptional guest service skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including days, evenings, weekends and holidays
- Valid Serving-It-Right certificate (can be obtained prior to first shift)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $16.75 per hour
