**Delivery Driver & Warehouse Worker**

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Driver to join our team here at Ontario Flower Growers.

The driver must be a morning person and is responsible for delivering fresh cut flowers and potted plants in a timely manner to customers anywhere in Ontario.

The vehicle used for deliveries is:

- 26' Box with reefer (Climate Control).
- No Air brakes (No "Z" Requirements).
- Dually, Single Axle.

We require the following:

- Letters of experience on insurer letterhead. They typically look for a minimum of 3 years comparable driving experience.
- Comparable Driving Experience means experience driving vehicles of similar weight (or greater). The vehicle type (reefer, flatbed, tanker etc..) is also a consideration.
- Provide any driver training certificates
- Must have experience with our size vehicle OR greater for atleast 3-5 years.

**Shifts are**:
**Monday: 8:00am-4:00pm**

**Tuesday: 6:30am-2:30pm**

**Wednesday: 7:30am-3:30pm**

**Thursday: 7:30am-3:30pm**

**Friday: 8:00am-4:00pm**
- Must successfully pass a criminal background check. (Police Clearance Certificate)
- **Clean** commercial driving abstract valid driver's license
- Driving location - mainly in southern Ontario area
- Early morning start
- Load and unload truck
- Manage log book
- Ability to read maps; good sense of geographical direction
- Ability to lift and/or carry up to 40 lbs.

**Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**:

- Must possess a high school diploma or educational equivalent
- Upper body strength and physical **stamina**
- Pick-up and delivery of customer's shipments in an effective and efficient manner

**- Able to cover open runs as assigned by Manager**
- Ability to solve problems as they arise while on road
- Comply with all Policies and Procedures
- Work in a safe manner at all times
- Maintain punctual attendance

**Warehouse Worker**
- Assist in receiving, inspecting, and storing incoming floral products.
- Organize and maintain the warehouse, including the cooler, to ensure efficient product retrieval and a clean, organized workspace.
- Participate in inventory management by tracking stock levels and assisting with restocking as needed.
- Follow safety protocols for handling and storing floral products, including temperature-sensitive items.
- Collaborate with team members to fulfill orders and prepare them for delivery.
- Support general warehouse labor, including packaging and labeling products.

**Salary**: $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
