**Shop Technician/Heavy Duty Parts Installer**: Primary Responsibilities
- Truck Componentry Installation - Install various parts on heavy machinery transportation equipment.
- Includes: -Lift axles -Weight calibration systems -Electrical and pneumatic systems -Steel components
- Clean and Safe Working Environment - Ensure work areas are cleaned up and safe, according to CanAmerican protocols. Work safely at all times.
- General Tasks - Assist in general tasks around the plant as the need arises and as required. - Take part in department meetings at the discretion of the supervisor.

Skills Required:

- Ability to communication and work effectively with fellow staff and other plant personnel
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Working knowledge of various hand tools
- Excellent organizational and planning skills.
- Accurately and completely document on work orders all applicable and required information, actions taken, etc.
- Working knowledge of Health and Safety procedures relating to warehousing and workshop activities, help maintain a safe and efficient operating environment.
- Preference towards automotive industry experience.
- Welding experience is an asset but not mandatory
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs

- Excellent communication skills both verbal and in writing, able to converse with the business executive team and workshop operatives in clear, practical, and unambiguous language.
- Be flexible as we work through the growth we are currently experiencing and to be a key contributor to achieving our future growth plans.
- Salary: starting at $20.00/hr
