**About this Opportunity**

The Richmond Country Club (RCC) is recruiting an **Hourly full-time Leisure Coordinator **to join our Racquets & Athletics team and reports to the Head Leisure Coordinator and the Director of Racquets and Athletics (DRA). The Leisure Coordinators are responsible for coordinating, conducting and supervising all sports and recreational activities including summer camps offered at the Club. The Leisure Coordinator will work as a cohesive crew with the interconnected departments to deliver exceptional service to the members.

The Leisure Coordinator duties are:

- Responsible for the well-being of all campers, assistants and volunteers.
- Works well and cohesively within a team.
- Patient, organized and creative are key attributes we are looking for.
- Work well with other Leisure Coordinators and all related Club staff.
- Ensure that safety standards and procedures are maintained at all times.
- Vigilance and presence of mind is key.
- Assist Director of Racquets and Athletics with tasks.
- Create, manage and implement all activities throughout the 8-week summer schedule as directed by the Head Leisure Coordinator.
- Assisting with the registration process.
- Taking daily enrollment.
- Communication skills - provide updates to staff and participants.
- Assist Racquet Office Receptionists with communication of payments.
- Monitor and organize volunteers in delivery of programs.

**What makes you a great fit?**
- 1-year minimum working experience in a similar role - preferred
- Experience in a camp setting is required
- Completed 2-3 years of post-secondary education ideal
- Experience with children is an advantage
- Criminal Record Check required
- Standard First Aid and CPR Certification, or willing to obtain

- Flexibility to meet work shift demands including holidays and weekends is essential

**Shift Requirement**:

- ** Hours of Work**: 30+ hours per week
- ** Flexibility**:Flexible to work weekends and holidays is required
- ** Start Date**: As soon as possible
- This position has potential to be year-round. The individual must be flexible to work weekends and holidays; and would work 40 hours/week during the peak season if this turns into a full-time position.

- ** Ability to commute/relocate**: Richmond, BC- reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**The Racquets & Athletics Operations**:
Racquets and Athletics

The Racquets and Athletics team consists of and looks after the following activities: Tennis
- four indoor and four outdoor courts; Pools and swimming lessons; Gymnasium and Fitness studio including guidance from certified professional trainers and pros in the field; and Summer camps. The Racquets Reception provides and manages the activities and schedules.
