**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain in-depth knowledge of all our products and offerings
- Welcome and connect with every guest
- Ring in orders, and follow cash handling guidelines
- Perform cash outs
- Follow health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products
- Maintain and stock all products in café, including condiment stand
- Maintain cleanliness of the café including storage areas
- Assist customers and employees with menu knowledge
- Prepare and assemble dishes
- Food preparation
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Prepare and serve soups, sandwiches, pastries, pizza, and more
- Cleaning/dishwashing
- Oversee all food and beverage operations within budgeted guidelines
- Maximize sales and revenue through customer satisfaction and employee engagement
- Implement and lead staff training to educate on product awareness
- Support new hire on-board training
- Provide leadership, coaching and progressive feedback to all employees
- Conduct regular inventory
- Ensure waste is being recorded
- Keep a close eye of product levels to ensure we do not run out of anything
- Create Milkshake and Special Coffee for every month
- Ensure that deep all daily cleaning tasks are completed

**Skills**:

- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
- Ability to lift over 50 pounds, carrying cases of milk, etc.
- Ability to work in a high-volume environment and be able to keep up with tasks
- Cooking and Line cook experience is an asset
- Dependable/flexible
- Good attention to detail and ensure our customer service and store standards are met
- Food Handler Certification certificate is an asset, and will be required to complete
- Previous cash out and cash handling experience an asset
- Support new hire on-board training
- Excellent interpersonal/relationship building skills
- Supervisory, coaching and staff development experience

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week

**Experience**:

- Supervising: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Food Safety Certification (preferred)
