Braeburn BGC is a non-profit multi-service agency **located in Rexdale**, Ontario. We operate quality programs for children, youth and families and are currently looking for dynamic, motivated staff to work in our Homework /Sport / Recreation / Leadership Programs for children and youth.

Braeburn BGC programs operate after school Monday to Friday during the school year and full days during summer camps. Program participants are school aged beginning from kindergarten up to grade 12. Program activities include sports, crafts, cooking, leadership building, indoor/outdoor games, homework guidance, and tutoring.
- Contract period is from **Sept 2024 - June 2025**:

- Programs operate **Mon-Fri, hours of work are between 2:00pm-5:45pm**

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in planning, set-up and implementation of programs for children and youth
- Provide responsible leadership and group guidance to participants
- Work cooperatively within a team
- Some lifting and moving of program supplies and equipment is required for set up
- Required to supervise some activities outdoors in all seasons

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in teaching, recreation, or in a related field
- Good academic skills
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team
- Previous tutoring experience with adolescent youth is an asset
- Standard First Aid - Level C is an asset
