Join us today as we are currently hiring a **IT** Co-Op Student for the Summer term (May-August)** **based in **Dartmouth, NS.**

Working directly with members of the I.T. Team, and business leaders at Seaboard, the Computer Science Student will be a catalyst in propelling projects forward to drive and create business efficiencies. The student will be exposed to many systems and lines of the business during their term. The successful student will work on specific projects during their co-op term.

Centered around our core database systems, the focus will be on using that data to streamline the company through reporting, analysis, and automation.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Provide Application Support for our business systems.
- Become a Product Expert for our business systems.
- Entered/updated Master Data
- Monitor and correct Master Data
- Recommend and revise process documentation and user documentation
- Deliver product and process-based training
- Other duties as required

**Job Requirements**:

- Transportation industry experience considered an asset
- SQL database experience considered an asset
- Advanced capabilities with MS Office, including: MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
- Strong communication skills - verbal and written
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Ability to work effectively with mínimal supervision
- Ability to multi-task with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Critical thinking and analytical skills required
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Enrolled in a masters of Computer Science program
