**Responsibilities of a Detention Centre Security Guard**:

- Watch and assist with processing of detainees
- Regular wellness checks
- Recognize medical concerns
- Complete documentation

**Qualifications of a Detention Centre Security Guard**:

- Policing / correctional training or 3+ years of security experience
- Have a clear criminal background
- First Aid CPR Level C (issued by Red Cross, St John Ambulance, Heart and Stroke)
