**Advance Paper Box Ltd **is looking for a **full-time Printing Press Operator/Pressman **to join our Printing team, who will be responsible for ensuring proper machine runs, quality standards are maintained, and production deadlines are managed as scheduled.

**Advance Paper Box** is a fully integrated folding carton manufacturing facility including design, die making, printing, die-cutting, and gluing. Our customers range from food and pharmaceutical manufacturers to computer software and automotive supply companies. **Hourly rate: $21.98/hr - depending on experience**

**Location: 105 Panet Rd, Winnipeg, MB R2J 0S1**

**Responsibilities**:

- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves)
- Verify customer specifications for each product using computer system.
- Follow and complete all work instructions for each job.
- Check quality continually ensuring standards are met or exceeded. Perform quality checks prior to sending product to the Die Cutting department.
- Conduct make readies.
- Troubleshoot and maintain printing equipment as required.
- Responsible for knowing equipment lockout procedures.
- Record production data as required (paperwork and on computer system).
- Perform general housekeeping and other related duties as required.
- Ensure safe and efficient set up and operation of the printing equipment.
- Ensure Company Safety, Quality, and Production standards are met
- Perform other duties as required

**Education and Experience**:

- Two
- Three (2-3) years of manufacturing experience with operating on operating large-format sheet fed lithographic printing presses is required
- Experience working on sheet fed printers is an asset
- Previous experience in a print environment and operating a printing press is an asset
- High school diploma or GED
- Completion of a printing program at a vocational/community college is preferred
- Basic computer skills, and data entry preferred
- Ability to work under mínimal supervision, understand technical written (and verbal) instructions, set
- up the machine, and carry out instructions
- Must have the ability to perform basic arithmetic including additions, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

**Physical Capabilities**:

- Able to work 12-hour days.
- Some heavy lifting is required
- Frequent walking and standing for extended periods
