First Credit Union is looking for an experienced financial service professional to join us as a Loans Administrator to improve the financial well-being of our communities. This role is primarily responsible for providing a wide range of administrative and clerical support to the retail lending department. Reporting to the Lending Experience Manager, the Loans Administrator documents, closes, disperses, and services First Credit Union lending products. This position is responsible for compiling data, preparing reports, and managing correspondence with cross-functional partners to support in achieving company lending goals.

**Major Responsibilities**:

- Support in the processing and maintenance of loans, loan funding, documentation, and auditing.
- Conduct ongoing analysis of loan portfolios to identify, manage, and monitor credit risk trends and necessary changes.
- Complete, analyze, track, and reconcile reports on a monthly basis.
- Collaborate with third parties such as lawyers, appraisers, and accountants on loan-related items.
- Adhere to security procedures and policies, including audit and privacy as they pertain to the position.
- Ensure a high personal standard of service and performance through relationship-building with partners, ensuring to center and improve the member experience.
- Actively participate in education seminars and training programs.
- Collaborate effectively with team to ensure organization objectives and service standards are met, and provide excellent customer service to all internal stakeholders.
- Complete property searches and registration of securities.
- Continually evaluate current processes and identify opportunities for increased operational efficiencies.
- Identify and implement process improvements, as well as, participate in organization-wide projects that affect retail lending.
- Manage consumer proposals and bankruptcies.
- Fund commercial lending.
- Complete all other duties as assigned.

**Required Experience, Knowledge, Skill, and Ability**:

- Secondary school diploma.
- Two years experience in the financial, sales or service industry.
- Annual required Cusource® courses.
- Education or equivalent experience with Products & Services and Fundamentals of Personal Financial Planning and Consumer & Residential Mortgage Lending.
- Superior knowledge of First Credit Union products and services.
- Accountability for both personal and organizational-assigned growth, goals and targets.
- Adherence to First Credit Union's Investment and Lending Policy and Procedural Policy.

Successful employees will demonstrate the following skill-sets:

- Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Office.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to multi-task and problem-solve, with strong organizational skills and emphasis on time management and prioritization. This includes meeting requests from multiple individuals.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a service-oriented focus.
- Familiarity with online services such as Central 1 manuals, personal property registry, credit bureaus and land titles.

**Salary**: $24.17-$28.23 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
