**About The Role**

As a key member of the Western Canada Maintenance and Turnaround team, the SH&E Lead will develop and manages SH&E programs for the company, business lines, regions, and/or clients.

**As a HS&E Lead at Graham, you will**:

- Under limited supervision, be responsible for moderately complex technical work in a wide range of environmental, safety and health disciplines to achieve compliance with ES&H standards along with federal and provincial regulatory requirements.
- Maintain current knowledge of specific government agency requirements.
- Exhibit knowledge and applies the fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of their environmental specialty.
- Independently determine and develop approaches to solutions.
- Develop, implement and maintain safety and health programs, systems and procedures. Monitor and prevent hazards and diseases in the work area.
- Investigate accidents, injuries, and complaints concerning hazards in the workplace.
- Recommend improvements in processes, design, procedures and operating equipment to minimize hazards.
- Develop and conduct employee training, emergency preparedness and assures the quality of programs.
- Provide regulatory interpretation and technical advice.
- May act as a lead role for a team of ES&H specialists and/or support personnel.
- May administer a SH&E program on a small or medium-sized project.

**Qualifications / Experience**:

- Health and Safety Education/designation such as NCSO, CRSP, CRST, CHSC, etc. is required.
- 5-10 years’ experience in a Health and Safety role
- Experience in leading a team considered an asset.
- Experience with Suncor Policies/Procedures considered an asset.
- Experience with Enablon considered an asset.
- CSO, H2S Alive, ESC Fall Protection, ESC Confined Space, ESC EWP training certificates are required.
