Axis Medical Canada Inc. est une société partenaire d’EssilorLuxottica, un distributeur d’équipement ophtalmique qui compte des emplacements partout au Canada.

**GENERAL FUNCTION**

Le technicien de service sera un expert dans son domaine. L’objectif principal du technicien est de fournir un support technique aux clients par le biais d’un service direct. Le technicien de service accompagnera les clients dans toutes les étapes de l’utilisation des solutions achetées et garantira leur satisfaction avec cette assistance concernant 1 ou 2 catégories d’équipements (finition, optométrie classique, optométrie-technologie, mesure, mise en réseau). Ce rôle aidera pendant les étapes d’installation, d’utilisation et de maintenance, de mise à jour, de dépannage et de réparation.

**MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Réparer, calibrer et installer des équipements en interne et dans les locaux des clients
- Fournir un soutien technique téléphonique aux clients, représentants et techniciens pour identifier les sources de problèmes et proposer des solutions appropriées
- Former les clients à l’utilisation des équipements
- Remettre en bon état le matériel usagé pour la revente
- Identifier les besoins en stock de pièces de rechange nécessaires à la réparation de l’équipement.
- Vérifier et étiqueter les pièces d’échange standard qui doivent être retournées au siège social
- Gérer et planifier les appels de service internes et externes en fonction des priorités et en collaboration avec les représentants.
- Préparer un ordre de service pour tous les appels et communiquer l’horaire de voyage au coordonnateur après-vente
- Préparer l’équipement nécessaire pour les démonstrations sur les sites des clients et lors de divers salons de l’optique
- Mettre à jour la base de données après chaque appel de service et produire un rapport hebdomadaire des réparations et des déplacements effectués
- Effectuer des visites de suivi régulières auprès des clients
- Participer occasionnellement à divers salons de l’optique.

**BASIC QUALIFICATIONS**
- Diplôme d’études collégiales en technologie électromécanique, ou électronique, (connaissances en optique est un atout)
- Minimum de deux ans d’expérience en service technique
- Connaissance de base des ordinateurs et des réseaux
- Connaissance de base de la suite Windows Office
- Capacité de soulever jusqu’à 35 kg (75 livres)
- Déplacements fréquents nécessitant des nuitées loin de chez soi
- Bonne communication (verbale et écrite)
- Permis de conduire valide dans la province d’emploi
- Français et anglais parlé et écrit (soutiendra également une clientèle anglophone)
