KMS Tools is looking for an experienced warehouse assistant manager to supervise the receipt, distribution, and storage of merchandise in our distribution center. The warehouse assistant manager will oversee picking, storage, receiving, dispatching, building maintenance, and administrative functions. You will oversee, train, evaluate and reward staff.

**Warehouse Assistant Manager Responsibilities**:

- Overseeing receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.
- Challenge and improve processes as appropriate.
- Control inventory levels by coordinating cycle counts.
- Maintain adequate shipping and packaging supplies, placing orders as needed.
- Ensure compliance of all health and safety regulations and policies
- Conduct investigations of shipments, claims, inventory discrepancies
- Assist in performance reviews.
- Coach and develop associates to meet organizational and personal goals.
- Implementing operational policies and procedures.
- Ensuring effective and safe use of warehouse equipment.
- Motivating and disciplining staff.
- Create, maintain and analyze departmental reports and metrics and track Key KPI as required.
- Define team KPIs and how to meet them.
- Develop cost reduction initiatives while maintaining productivity and quality.
- Work hard to “get it done” and have fun doing so

**Qualifications**:

- 5+ years of warehouse management experience.
- Excellent understanding of warehouse management procedures.
- Proficient knowledge of inventory and inventory controls.
- Learn and become proficient with our operating system.
- Has a positive, friendly attitude and enjoys helping people.
- Thrives in an engaging, fun workplace with a desire to excel.
- Has exceptional communication and people skills.
- Has a strong ability to prioritize, plan, and multitask, and requires mínimal supervision.
- Works with a high level of attention to detail and organization.
- Has a strong sense of responsibility and is able to work as a team leader.
- Is highly motivated to improve processes and procedures.
- Demonstrates a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
- Is motivated towards continuous learning and personal development.
- Valid drivers' license.
- Ability to operate a forklift effectively.
