Carpenter Apprentice

Overview:
We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Carpenter Apprentice. This is an entry-level position that offers hands-on training and the opportunity to learn and develop skills in the carpentry trade. As a Carpenter Apprentice, you will work under the guidance of experienced carpenters and assist in various construction projects.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in measuring, cutting, and shaping wood materials according to specifications
- Assist in the installation of cabinets, siding, roofs, and other carpentry projects
- Follow schematics and blueprints to ensure accurate construction
- Perform basic construction painting and caulking tasks
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines on job sites

Qualifications:

- Basic knowledge of carpentry tools and equipment
- Ability to follow instructions and work well within a team
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges

**Skills**:

- Proficient in using carpentry tools such as saws, drills, hammers, etc.
- Knowledge of plumb lines and measurements for precise installations
- Familiarity with cabinet installation techniques
- Experience with siding installation is a plus
- Ability to build structures according to construction plans
- Basic understanding of construction painting techniques
- Knowledge of roof installation processes
- Proficient in caulking for weatherproofing purposes

Please note that all positions at our company are paid, including apprenticeships.

Pay: $17.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
