Fresh Start Foods is currently hiring a **full-time** **Machine Operator** who is eager to work in a fast-paced team-oriented work environment in our **Richmond**, BC location.

**Position**: Full-Time, Permanent
**Schedule**: Monday-Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:30PM
**Salary**: $17.75/h

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Accurate completion of documentation when required
- Works in a safe manner and follows all safety procedures
- Set up and operate machines - slicers, dicers, peelers
- Perform testing procedures to ensure machines are working optimally
- Perform food processing functions including manual cutting, washing, and drying of products.
- Able to identify and retrieve products for processing
- Able to read the recipes (weight, cut size, volume)
- Monitor and troubleshoot basic machine problems/perform regular safety checks

**Skills, Qualifications, and Experience**:

- Must be able to work full-time (40h) and flexible for overtime
- Previous manufacturing experience in a food processing facility
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to work on weekends and holidays
- Ability to be flexible with regards to working in production areas where needed the most
- Ability to work in a refrigerated environment
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
