Oakville, Canada Mister Mechanic Lift Truck Service Full time

**We are a Forklift Distributor, and require a full time roll-off truck driver.**

We are looking for the right person, who wants to join our team, and make a career of working for us. ~ We are very family oriented.

**Responsibilities**:

- This person will deliver and pick up forklifts and machinery to and from our customers.
- The shop mechanics require assistance from time to time and part of the duties will be to assist them during busy times, but only if required.
- We sometimes install forklift batteries and other items at the customer's site, and move machines and forklifts for our customers.
- Basic maintenance, inspections, and greasing the truck rails ~ Also our driver is responsible to make sure the maintenance is done (but not do any major service, only inspections and greasing), and make sure the safety certificates are current.

We have a International (Standard) dual-axle Roll-Off truck, a single axle International (Automatic) Roll-Off truck and a Ford flat bed dually F350 (Automatic), with a gooseneck trailer for moving tall reach machines. The driver will operate all of them, and make sure they are kept in top condition at all times. ~ We believe in maintaining our trucks and equipment to the best possible MTO standards.

**Requirements**:

- _Some experience with heavy machinery or BIG truck driving is an absolute must._
- If necessary, we will train you on securing the loads properly to MTO standards.
- _People skills are very important_, and you will be required to work with customers to solve problems, if and when, as they arise.
- This position is full time, 5 days a week. Occasionally, an out of town delivery is required, but mostly local. Yes, you go home every night, although occasionally (seldom) a little late.

**Benefits**:This is a long-term position with benefits. Hourly rate is commensurate with experience. Increases are based on your work performance and reliability.**
