Heidelberg Materials is seeking a **Quality Process Control (QPC) Supervisor.** Reporting to the Northern Alberta Mine and Extraction Supervisor, this position provides technical oversight and leadership for ongoing field/pit support in all aspects of the Aggregates QPC programs and initiatives.

**What You'll Get To Do**
- Evaluate production capabilities and recommend process improvement/changes to ensure product yields are maximized while maintaining strict quality standards
- Develop, implement, and monitor quality standards, processes and controls
- Supervise Quality Control Technicians including hiring, training, and performance management
- Gather, analyze, and report quality control data
- Participate and provide input to inventory management and the balancing of production with on hand inventory/forecasting product demand
- Ensure compliance requirements are met through organizational and procedural measure including implementation of Group guidelines (CCM), completion of required training and monitoring compliance
- Provide ongoing technical support to both internal and external customers
- Proactively manage safety and health to continuously improve performance
- Assist in mine planning and reclamation for Parson Creek Aggregates and the Edmonton Aggregates region for new and existing mine sites.

**Essential Experience and Skills**
- Bachelor of Science in Mining Engineering.
- 2-3 years directly-related experience in preparing mine plans and supporting documents in accordance with applicable mining regulations and best practices
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Proficient use of Carlson/AutoCAD and/or other computer design programs and mining or earthwork software.

**Preferred Experience and Skills**
- GIS experience
- Experience in exploration, reserve evaluation, aggregate processing, material testing and quality control techniques

**Work Environment**:

- Role operates in an office and manufacturing environment with moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, humidity, elevated noise levels, and dusty conditions
