Cochrane Family Vision, a leading private optometry practice owned by Drs. Ian and Sallie Barclay, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Pretester/Optometric Assistant to join our friendly and high-tech clinic. We take pride in offering top-notch optometric care and products while ensuring a comfortable experience for all our patients.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct preliminary tests for patients before their eye exam with the optometrist
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills to interact with patients and address their needs
- Prioritize tasks and multitask efficiently in a fast-paced, professional environment
- Collaborate with our close-knit team to ensure exceptional service delivery

Qualifications:

- Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with patients and make them feel at ease
- Proven ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
- An eagerness to learn and grow in the eye care industry
- Previous experience in the eye care field is a plus but not mandatory

This role is an ideal opportunity for students interested in pursuing a career in the medical or eye care field. Please note that evening and Saturday hours are required.
