Maecon Infrastructure is a leading construction firm specializing in concrete restoration of bridges, commercial and industrial infrastructure. We are seeking a skilled and experienced **Concrete**Foreman** to join our team and oversee on-site construction activities at various jobsites all throughout Nova Scotia.

**Position Overview**:
Reporting to the Superintendent and Project Management Team, this position is responsible for leading and overseeing site operations for active projects while meeting construction deadlines.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 10 years of experience working in a construction setting.
- 2-3+ years of experience in a supervisory role, preferably with previous experience in concrete construction/restoration.
- Experience doing crack sealing, plug joints & waterproofing an asset.
- Experience running a melter machine a huge asset an asset.
- Strong leadership skills to manage, motivate and promote productivity.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
- Can work under pressure to meet company deadlines.
- Comfortable working variable hours at various location all throughout Nova Scotia.
- Valid Class 5 Drivers License, condition 15 considered an asset.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with various stakeholders.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Foremen are responsible to lead and direct people, equipment, and resources on Maecon construction sites.
- Engage in open communication with the Superintendent and Project Managers and report any issues that could affect the project.
- Prepare and present progress reports.
- Organize and coordinate the daily activities of all crew members, subcontractors, and equipment.
- Plan work in an efficient and effective manner.
- Read and interpret project plan and specifications.
- Monitor expenditures and keep budget in check.
- Maintain company training standards for the position.
- Supervise, train, and give feedback to your crew members.
- Manage and monitor employee attendance.
- Monitor the behaviours, attitudes, and actions of their crew member to ensure they do not impact the safety of themselves or their co-workers.
