**Responsibilities**:
The **Corporate Dispatcher **is responsible for coordinating and dispatching long distance, heavy equipment and inter-store trucking for all 11 Huron Tractor locations. Responsibilities of this position include:
**Scheduling**
- Review trucking schedule for all locations
- Build efficient loads, organize load routes effectively, and prioritize deliveries
- Review sold units for all locations to organize and fill loads on trucks
- Quote trucking requests for local and long distance freight
- Work with Service and Sales departments to have equipment prepared for trucking, and ensure all driver paperwork/rental contracts are prepared for Drivers
- Communicate with drivers, carriers, and customers
- Ensure prompt receipt and delivery of equipment and goods to and from customers and suppliers
- Maintain Motive website for ELD
- Provide exceptional customer service and address any concerns or complaints
- Notify and communicate with our customers regarding the status of their load, ETAs and/or any delays on a regular basis

***Safety & Training**
- Set safety expectations for drivers
- Perform safety audits on delivery related equipment, vehicles and drivers
- Conduct and/or arrange safety training for delivery drivers
- Investigate accidents and incidents and recommend prevention measures

***Fleet Management**
- Plan, direct and manage the acquisition, assignment, maintenance, repair of delivery fleet vehicles
- Make recommendations on the acquisition and disposal of delivery fleet vehicles

Provides supervision to the Transportation Coordinator to ensure:
**Logistics & Licensing**
- All customs documentation is complete and ready for Driver
- Order permits when required
- Renew annual IRP Plates and Cab Cards
- Renew annual Wide Load Permits, and Annual County Permits
- Annual renewal of IFTA Stickers, Transponders, UCR Registrations
- Schedule annual service inspections
- License all new trucks and trailers for IRP

**B**illing**
- Complete Purchase Orders for loads completed by other trucking companies
- Invoice John Deere for all Territory Manager and Training Department loads from Huron Tractor
- Charge all trucking transactions
- Review driver trip sheets for quarterly IFTA Fuel Return and for monthly journal entries

**Preferred Skills and Qualifications**
- 3+ years of experience performing similar duties in a similar role
- Ability to organize work effectively and efficiently
- Detailed oriented
- Proficient oral and written communication skills
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required
