Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Security Guard to join our team. As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and emplyees. Your primary duties will include surveillance, loss prevention, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

**Duties**:

- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or unauthorized entry
- Monitor CCTV cameras and alarm systems to identify potential security threats
- Respond promptly to alarms and investigate disturbances
- Provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors in a professional and courteous manner
- Enforce access control procedures to ensure only authorized individuals enter restricted areas
- Complete detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of any security-related incidents
- Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when necessary

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience working in security or a related field is preferred
- Strong knowledge of surveillance techniques, loss prevention strategies, and security protocols
- Familiarity with CCTV systems and other security equipment
- Excellent observation skills and attention to detail
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Physical fitness and the ability to stand or walk for long periods of time

**Job Type**: Part-time

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

- Evening shift
- Night shift

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Security Guard Licence (preferred)

Work Location: In person
