- **Responsibilities**_:

- Manage all aspects of the company's financial records and transactions
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Conduct account analysis and assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Handle payroll processing and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information and adhere to internal controls
- Prepare T4’s and ROE
- Prepare GST/HST Reports for remittance on a monthly and quarterly basis
- Responsible for processing the Restaurant cash out
- Responsible for updating and monitoring QuickBooks data and payroll calculations
- Responsible for processing pay stubs and cheques
- Daily entry of key data financial transactions in database
- Research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies
- Perform day-to-day accounting transactions, including verifying, classifying, posting, and recording
- Prepare bills, invoices, and bank deposits
- Code and manage employee expenses
- Perform day-to-day accounting transactions, including verifying, classifying, posting, and recording
- Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted
- Verify discrepancies by and resolve clients missed, short paid & amp; billing issues
- Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients on overdue balances
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and operational accruals
- Maintain full set of accounts
- Great interpersonal skills that enable clear and effective communication with other employees
- Balancing subsidiary accounts to reconcile accounts
- Ensuring all financial actions comply with local legal requirements
- Preparing financial reports by analyzing, collecting, and condensing account trends and information
- Using a system to account for the financial transactions made by the company to establish a chart of accounts.
- Other related duties as required by HR, Operation Managers and the CEO
- **Qualifications**_:

- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper
- Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles and practices
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software
- Proficiency in English and in MS Office, NetSuite, and QuickBooks
- Customer service orientation and negotiation skills
- BS degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration an asset
- Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) certification preferred
- Minimum 3 -5 years of payroll administration experience required
- Familiarity with payroll processing and relevant laws/regulations
- Solid understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively

**Salary**: $24.48-$28.91 per hour
