Caretaker

Eden Care Communities (ECC) is a not-for-profit and charitable housing, health care and wellness provider of Long Term Care Homes, Personal Care Homes and Group Home Living in Regina, Saskatoon, and Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan.

Are you passionate about enabling seniors? If so, we are currently looking for a Caretaker for our Regina Lutheran Home location.

**REQUIREMENTS**

**Housekeeping/Waste Disposal**
- Maintain floors - dry/wet mop, burnish, vacuum, strip, auto-scrub, seal and finish
- Prepare cleaning solutions (e.g., dilutes)
- Remove waste, including sharps and recyclables
- Perform general cleaning, including furniture, windows, vents, and appliances
- Set up rooms for functions (e.g., tables, chairs, etc.)

**Inventory/Stock Distribution**
- Ship and receive inventory
- Distribute stock

**Maintenance**
- Clean and maintain equipment (e.g., vacuums, burnishers and auto-scrubber)
- Perform minor repairs to equipment and facility including painting and carpentry repairs
- Maintain pest control
- Operate garbage compactor

**QUALIFICATION**

Grade 10

**EXPERIENCE**

No previous experience required

**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES**
- Basic knowledge of tools and equipment
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work independently
- Valid driver’s license, where required by the job
