**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY**

Manage flow of materials and information into and out of QC laboratories. Communicate with QC Group Leads, QC Supervisors, Quality Assurance and Lab Analysts to ensure on time completion of lab testing. Collaborate with Product Development, Tech Services and Supply chain to accept and organize samples for non-routine testing.

**SPECIFIC DUTIES**
- Enter samples into LIMS for raw material, bulk, in-process and finished product samples and communicate with QC supervisors to ensure sample flow through laboratory.
- Manage execution of Finished Product retain program, ensuring compliance with all timelines and requirements.
- Complete updates of specifications into LIMS system
- Manage raw material receiving reports to ensure compliance for filing, sign outs and retention.
- Ensure process for Finished Product Retains are followed according to Health Canada requirements and internal operating procedures including management of database and storage areas.
- Prepare summaries of analytical data for material certification and qualification of material changes, acting as a liaison with compliance and supply chain.
- Organize and prepare shipments for third party labs
- Understand and manage precursor raw materials, finished products and waste streams
- Support stability sample management and third-party lab communications.
- Write summary reports for water and air testing on required timing as per SOP’s.
- Identify, document, and implement process improvements within area of responsibility through completion of documentation updates, change controls and CAPA support.
- Work with lab leadership to track and improve KPI’s for lab throughput.
- Other duties as required in role to ensure lab operations are completed on time and optimized.

**EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE**
- B.Sc. or Diploma in a science related field
- Ability to work independently and manage self-directed tasks
- Well-developed organizational skills
- Understanding of GMP
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Knowledge of raw materials, precursor chemicals and finished products in a pharmaceutical environment
- Ability to perform in a team environment.
