**CCDC Dietitian**

The CCDC Dietitian has a direct reporting relationship to the Manager, Nutrition and Food Services Department, with

a matrix reporting relationship for dietitian practice to the Director, Health Professions and Collaborative Practice.

The CCDC Dietitian will perform all duties of a Registered Dietitian, following the scope of practice defined by the

College of Dietitians of Ontario.

EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS
- Current registration in good standing with the College of Dietitians of Ontario required
- Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) or College Diabetes Education Certificate or be eligible to write and

successfully pass the CDE exam
- Experience in the care of patients with complex chronic disease
- Demonstrated adult education skills
- Demonstrated patient/family counseling skills to support self management of chronic disease
- Experience working with Indigenous population
- Experience working with disenfranchised and food insecure population
- Entry‑level enteral and parenteral nutrition support skills required
- Effective communication, facilitation and presentation skills
- Demonstrated commitment to continuing professional education
- Demonstrated critical thinking, problem solving and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work independently and within an interprofessional team
- Demonstrated organizational and time management skills
- Proven flexibility and ability to adapt positively to change

Salary Range: $38.020 to 47.83
