This is a full-time, permanent position, with an excellent benefits package, and room for growth.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Using a forklift and/or pallet jack to safely and efficiently move and lift aluminum logs that are 20-25 ft long and around 1000 lbs. in weight, as well as other heavy material loads.
- Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods.
- On a daily basis, inspect and perform minor maintenance on the forklift or other equipment (i.e., adding hydraulic fluid if necessary)
- Ensure job quality meets company standards and customer requirements.
- Assist in other parts of the plant including loading/unloading as required.
- Other duties, as assigned.
**Knowledge/Experience and Skills**:
- Forklift experience (minimum 1 year production floor experience required).
- Previous experience in driving Hyster and other similar equipment (preferred).
- Warehouse distribution experience.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
