**What You'll Do;**

As our Social Media Manager, you will leverage your experience and talents to elevate the Sporting Life brand through our social media channels. Within this role, you will be responsible for attracting and engaging with our customer base, creating a community enthusiast through customer engagement, storytelling, and content creation across all of Sporting Life’s social media channels by leading the organization’s social media strategy, working collaboratively with broader marketing team and other departments to launch social media campaigns that will build brand awareness, attract followers and increase share of voice.
- Lead in developing and creating all organic content, including video, images, graphics, and copy across Sporting Life’s social channels, including Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.
- Managing the social media content calendar with the ability to read, react, and adapt in real-time.
- Collaborate internally with our digital media team on paid social media advertising campaigns.
- Act as an extension of our Customer service teams by responding promptly to customer questions, inquiries and comments.
- Partner with writers to develop content for the Sporting Life blog, including editing and publishing.
- Build relationships and collaborate on content creation with influencers, vendors and brand ambassadors.
- Own all social media performance KPIs including performance tracking, analytics and reporting.

**What You'll Bring;**
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in social media management, content creation, or digital marketing with a post-secondary Education in Marketing, Communications, or related discipline.
- Experience in content creation tailored for social media platforms including image, video, graphics, copywriting.
- Experience in the retail space is beneficial but not required
- Proven analytics skills with the ability to analyze results and leverage the information to improve future programs
- Experience with social media monitoring and publishing tools
