Packaging Operator

Overview:
We are seeking a meticulous Packaging Operator to join our team. The Packaging Operator will be responsible for packaging products efficiently and accurately to meet quality standards. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Operate packaging machinery to package products according to specifications
- Inspect and ensure the quality of packaged products meets company standards
- Assemble packaging materials and containers as needed
- Utilize hand tools to assist in packaging tasks
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors

**Experience**:

- Prior experience in packaging or related field preferred
- Familiarity with forklift operation is a plus
- Ability to fabricate and assemble packaging materials
- Proficiency in using hand tools for packaging tasks
- Experience working in a warehouse setting is beneficial

Tasks involve counting and packaging items into boxes, labelling, shrink wrapping, gluing and packing products. Light lifting is required up to 50 pounds.

Prior experience in pump truck operation is highly preferred.

3-5 years experience in similar work responsibilities preferred.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From $16.75 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
