MôR Elevated Dining & Lounge is a full-service, locally-owned and operated restaurant group in Kitchener, ON. We are a family-owned business that has been in business for over 20 years. **Responsibilities**
- Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers
- Greet customers upon their arrival and departure
- Answer questions or provide service tips
- Stay guest focused and engage with families, guests, and staff during your shift
- Work to keep the bar tab system in place so that we can receive bar credit when guests pay at the cash register
- Comply with all food safety and health regulations
- Maintain cleanliness of bar area, tables, stools, glassware, shelves, equipment, etc.
- Handle guest requests or questions about food or menu items
- Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
- Maintain excellent guest service through every interaction
- Coordinate with colleagues when necessary to keep the service area clean and orderly
- Prepare tables for upcoming shifts or for events
- Check inventory regularly to ensure supplies are available
- Efficiently manage cash register and other functions that assist the server at the counter
- Provide support to the server when needed to ensure the team can focus on customer needs
- Assist with opening and closing duties as needed

Qualifications**:Previous experience as a bartender ** Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays (must be able to work both days & nights with no breaks) **Ability to stand for long periods of time (10-20 minutes) while working at the bar**

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 10-25 per week

**Salary**: $15.50 per hour
