Location is flexible, within Alberta, dependent on the successful applicant.
However, periodically may be asked to work in other AFSC branches. Travel in these circumstances will be reimbursed according to AFSC’s Employee and Board of Directors Expense Policy.
Reporting to a Verification Supervisor, positions at this level are responsible for working closely with other Processing & Verification staff in processing, reviewing and approving claims of medium to high complexity in one or more product specialties (Income Stabilization or Insurance) within their approval authority. This position may also be required to work on AgriRecovery, LPI, Lending and any Ad Hoc programs and products administered by AFSC. These activities are performed in a highly automated environment requiring knowledge of generic and AFSC specific analytic programs and using sophisticated internal databases.

- Provide expertise in the refinement and development of AFSC programs, policies and processes
- Work with policy specialists to expand knowledge of program rules/guidelines
What will you be responsible for?
- With mínimal guidance from senior staff reviews, verifies and approves claims of medium complexity and with support approves claims of high complexity within authority levels
- Build strong customer relationships and deliver customer-centric solutions
- Contribute to a positive team atmosphere buy displaying respectful words and actions to ensure effective communication and team work
- Establish situational external relationships with clients and their representatives to clarify and obtain information and ensure compliance with program guidelines
- Collate and analyze data using various systems, methods and formats. Involves working independently.

**Qualifications**:
- College Diploma with 3 years of related experience
