Grave Digger

**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Operate heavy equipment such as backhoes, loaders, Gators, and Caterpillar machinery to dig graves and prepare burial sites.
- Ensure that all excavation work is performed safely and in accordance with established guidelines.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of equipment and work areas.
- Collaborate with cemetery staff to coordinate burial schedules and site preparations.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Assist in paving pathways or roads within the cemetery as needed.
- Follow all safety protocols while operating machinery and handling materials.

**Qualifications**
- Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in heavy equipment operation.
- Proficiency in backhoe operation, loader operation, and gator operation is preferred.
- Ability to build and maintain equipment as necessary for operational efficiency.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to providing respectful service.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting and digging for extended periods.
- A valid driver’s license is required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- On call
- Weekends as needed

Licence/Certification:

- Class 5 Licence (required)
