**Description of position**

Assists Pharmacist with injections for the upcoming Flu Season. Assists patients from check in to immunization. Adheres to pharmacy standards of practice.

**Daily tasks and responsibilities**
- Provides prompt and courteous patient services.
- Obtains patient medical history and maintains confidential computer record, and assists pharmacist in updating patient profile and entering prescription information into the pharmacy computer to extent permitted by provincial regulations. Preserves patient confidentiality.
- Counts, labels (including appropriate auxiliary labels), and packages prescriptions, through workflow and bin management.
- This is an immunization/injection contract position for the upcoming flu season.

**Non-essential functions and tasks**
- Assists with other assigned duties as necessary.

**Typical schedule**
- Typical shifts and days off will be discussed at the time of the interview._
- Education/Training: 4th Year Student in a Pharmacist Degree Program; must be able to show transcripts for confirmation.
- Permits/Licenses/Certifications: Certificates/licenses for Injections/Immunizations, ImmsBC platform, and any other platform needed to administer injections in the Province of BC.
- Experience:

Computer, math, and member service skills preferred.
