We are looking for a passionate professional, and detailed oriented **Health & Safety Coordinator** to join our team As a Health and Safety Coordinator, you will be responsible for facilitating compliance with OSH guidelines. Your main goal will be to always ensure a safe working environment and prevent injuries and accidents.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Aid in investigating and reporting workplace injuries and incidents.
- Carry out inspections and audits in working areas and sites as well as external clients.
- Provide recommendations to prevent the reoccurrence of workplace injuries and incidents.
- Collaborate with all levels in the company to build a safety culture.
- Investigate workplace hazard reports and safety concerns.
- Develop safe work procedures, and safety reports, and maintain appropriate records.
- Tracking and Controlling documents.
- Communicate within your own department to ensure that all relevant information is forwarded to the appropriate personnel on a regular and timely basis.
- Provide regular updates to the HS Manager regarding progress on required duties and the status of any outstanding actions.
- Coach and mentor staff as appropriate to improve health and safety performance.
- Build and maintain a thorough knowledge of health and safety legislation.
- Compile and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual health and safety reports to the HS Manager.

**Qualifications & Requirements**
- Computer experience in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Written and oral communication skills.
- Strong sense of respect for confidentiality.
- Problem-solving attitude and analytical ability.
- A mature self-starter with the ability to work with minimum supervision.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple deadlines.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and able to adapt to change.
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Valid G Driver’s License
- NCSO or CRST designation or working towards considered an asset.
