Baggage Handler

Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Baggage Handler to join our team. As a Baggage Handler, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient handling of baggage and cargo at our facility. This is a physically demanding role that requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers.

Some of the duties:

- Load and unload baggage and cargo from the truck, ensuring proper handling and placement
- Sort and distribute baggage to designated areas
- Operate equipment safely to transport baggage
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Assist customers with inquiries or concerns regarding their baggage
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area
- Support dispatch team when needed

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks for extended periods to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks for extended periods of time
- Basic math skills for inventory tracking purposes
- Previous experience in a warehouse or customer service role is preferred
- Previous experience as a baggage or ramp agent is preferred
- Fluency in English language and basic computer skills for data entry is required
- Driving license "G" is required

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $16.55-$19.55 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week

- Baggage handling / ramp agent: 1 year (preferred)
