**IELTS Examiner**

We are looking for qualified individuals to join our team of IELTS speaking examiners. Examiners conduct and assess face-to-face speaking interviews with IELTS test takers.

You will need:

- An English level equivalent to Band 9 IELTS
- An undergraduate degree
- A recognized qualification in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL).
- At least 3 years full-time (or the equivalent part-time) relevant TESOL teaching experience (classroom not tutoring)
- The required professional attributes and interpersonal skills.

Testing is in-person. Applicants must be willing to work at locations across Metro Vancouver such as Surrey, Burnaby Vancouver. Training is free for successful applicants who are willing to make a commitment to ILAC IELTS Testing. Test sessions are available Monday through Saturday. Examiners are paid per interview at a rate of $15 and can test 3-4 test takers per hour.

An intensive in-person training seminar and certification session for the speaking module will be held December 14-15. Once qualified, examiners can expect approximately 2-4 shifts per month depending on demand at various transit-accessible Metro-Vancouver locations.
