**TD IT Application Support** covers business segment CIO technology areas or shared services technology functions. These experts interact closely with those within the Infrastructure Technology Solutions space. With a heightened focus on developing, implementing standard support models and processes using industry best practices, this role is responsible for production support, troubleshooting incident and problem management, service transition, IT change management and deployment and release management.

**About This Role**

Specifically, the role will require strong aptitude in the following areas:

- Leads end-to-end planning and integration of changes into IT service lifecycle for Platforms
- Acts as single point of contact for all matters related to release planning, scheduling, and governance
- Develops and executes release strategy that provides direction on holistic approach to ensure release implementation aligns with business objectives and technology imperatives
- Establishes and leads release gating processes, reporting and communications
- Identifies and manages release risks, issues, and dependencies
- Ensures that all component relationships of an IT service are considered when the service is changed within a given release
- Defines and enables release process steps that are repeatable, controllable, scalable, and sustainable
- Works with partners and leadership to ensure Release Pods have the right support, technical/domain knowledge, and capabilities to support given release scope
- Applies a risk-based approach to prioritize releases and release activities based on highest business value/impact while aligning to Journey and Platform roadmaps
- Works with stakeholders to identify, track and resolve dependencies that could impact delivery
- Partners with development teams to ensure app changes are planned, scheduled and managed across lower environments with mínimal collisions and conflicts
- Understanding of the DevOps and CI/CD principles and practices
- Perform lower environment coordination, communication, reservation and incident management
- Supports collision analysis and dependency management for Deployments

**Job Requirements**

**What can you bring to TD?** Share your credentials, but your relevant experience and knowledge can be just as likely to get our attention. It helps if you have:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field a bonus
- 8+ years of previous experience in release management, software delivery, software/IT project management
- 5+ years of experience in information systems operations environment in service management, systems analysis or development
- Advanced knowledge of software development (SAFe, Agile, etc.) and service management lifecycles (ITSM)
- Formal training and solid understanding of project management principles (preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward task completion
- Demonstrated effective leadership and analytical skills
- Well-developed executive communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Sound management techniques, experience in problem resolution and development of strategies for operational improvement
- Leadership in growing team expertise to align with demand and TD's business and technology direction; assess team capabilities, identify ways to provide and enhance value delivered.
- Drive to enhance your knowledge and expertise by staying abreast of industry and business trends
