**EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY - Hiring: Kitchen Helper**

**Post Majority Support Services**

The Post Majority Support Services Program is looking for a full time Kitchen Helper to assist in the kitchen with a variety of tasks to ensure it runs smoothly. The Kitchen Helper will assist in the kitchen with cleaning, washing and putting away dishes, taking out garbage, unloading food supplies from delivery trucks, serving and clearing dishes, assisting the Cook with meal preparation and food inventory. This position will report to the Kitchen Cook and will be based in Edmonton.

**Responsibilities**
- Washing, drying and putting away dishes and kitchen utensils.
- Helping unload and put away food supplies.
- Assisting the Cook in preparing meals for clients and staff.
- Refilling condiments and other table supplies.
- Sweeping and mopping the kitchen.
- Maintain respect, open and honest communication at all times with residents and staff.
- Serve as a role model to young adults.
- Actively participate in Treaty 8 Urban office staff development, training and events.
- Other duties as required.

**Qualifications and Education Requirements**
- High School diploma or equivalent. Diploma from a culinary school would be considered an asset.
- 1 year previous work experience in a kitchen.

**Salary**: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
